MISSION

To produce high performance, lightweight composite yachts and components.  Our goal is to build an American company capable of producing semi-custom high performance catamarans.

 

CAPABILITIES & FACILITY

 

The “shed” as it’s known at Ojigwan Yachts is a brand new steel building (35’x’50’) with 20ft high ceilings and a total of 1800 square feet of climate controlled shop space that meets all local wind and snow loads.  Our facility was custom built for our business and includes an energy efficient radiant floor heating system to ensure a dust free environment suitable for painting year round; our location, staff and facility all contribute to reduce overhead costs.  Inside there are over 240,000 Lumens of LED overhead lighting to ensure we produce a quality finish.  The building itself is nestled on a private farm just steps away from the Potomac River.  Within 100 yards is a boat ramp and multi-slip dock to ensure our projects can splash and sea trial quickly and efficiently.  Our close proximity to the water and privacy makes it the ideal location for our boutique boat building business.

Program Management:  Our owner and founder has over 14 years supporting program management and acquisition.  He has managed multiple 30+ million dollar system upgrades and teams of more than 30 members.  We use integrated schedule and cost estimating tools to ensure we can delivery on cost and schedule.

Media:  Our team has professional caliber photography and videography equipment as well as a drone.  Using these tools we can provide high quality photos and videos as well drone footage of your project ultimately reducing your marketing budget and enabling you to document progress.

Efficiency:  Our small team all have multiple jobs and areas of expertise.  This ensures we never have down or idle time.  Each one of us can support each phase of the build and keep costs down.  Our location on a family farm provides security, control and reduced monthly costs
